Goodbye
Hello everyone!
As we came to the end of this semester, our Material Design class has also came to an end with the final project. In this post, I will share my experiences about this course throughout the semester and most probably leave this blog to whoever reads my posts:)
In my opinion, this course is very important for the future teachers who will be teaching to students that are born into a technology world. It is crucial for us to learn how to benefit from technology so we can reach to our students easily.
Thanks to the clear explanations and instructions from our teacher, the tasks were easy to complete and most importantly, we were able to comprehend the importance of them for our education to give extra care while completing them. Sometimes I had to think about what kind of task I should come up with but I wouldn't say that it was difficult.
My favorite task was 'Augmented Reality' because it was fun to play with QR codes and I reall believe the students would also enjoy the lesson we created. My least favorite task was 'Digital Timeline' since it doesn't require much personalization and creativity so for me, it was a little boring.
I would like to have a task where I can freely use my creativity so my suggestion would be focusing more on creation instead of history, yet I know that knowing the development of the technology is also important so it wouldn't be so wise to remove it.
To the students who will take this course next year, attend the lessons regularly and try to give your full potential. Also do not ignore the feedbacks from the teacher!
I believe what I learned from this course will help me greatly in my teaching and I will be able to use technology in my lessons to optimize the quality of learning process.
I don't know if I'll ever need to write another post for this blog but who knows, maybe we can meet again with another course and another task.
Thank you for being with me in another semester.
Goodbye!
Love, Liva.
