My Wiki Experience

Hi everyone!

This week, we learned about Wikis and how useful they are for educational purposes. 

I've never used a Wiki for anything so it was my first time creating a page. And I have to say, it was nor hard at all! Especially when you compare to podcast and blog homeworks, it really was an easy assignment for me. We were asked to create a page and make a book review. We were able to choose whichever book we want. I chose Kinyas and Kayra, the book I most recently read and like. I introduced it briefly and talked about what's good about this book, why you should read it and some special notes about Kinyas and Kayra that you may not heard before.  

It really is a great book with a lot of deep psychological points that's gonna make you think about their meaning. It makes you feel things that you've never experienced before and maybe most importantly, it isn'tboring! I hope you give it a shot and like it.

As I said before, Wiki project was fun and easy to make. I'm sure I'll use it with my students in the future. I recommend you to do the same too.

Kinyas and Kayra

Kinyas and Kayra is a novel written by Hakan Günday in 2000. It's considered as an example of underground literature which is not commonly seen in Turkey. It has 533 pages. The book is about two friends who hate everything in life and themselves.
